Before enacting any additional local rules (best avoided!) the primary concern is abiding by the rules of the free host so they do not nuke the place.
There will naturally be efforts by IT/.co alike to try and destroy a middle ground like this, to keep people hostile to each other and in factions, so we must be wary and report rules violations.
The idea is to allow free expression of ideas while also realizing that some ideas will probably get wrongly labelled as misogyny/terrorism/etc. and so that must be curtailed to allow for continued free hosting.
There should be no illusions of neutrality or openness. Those are ideals to strive for, but where we are obligated to fall short of them, we should strike to be transparent.

1-17 is basically PB just avoiding legal responsibility for stuff others do, doesn't seem to be anything of concern there.
18 is "Objectionable Content" and something worth paying attention to. Firstly is the VERBS:

They list examples by letter in a run-on way (not even new lines) so here it is in a more legible format:
Rule A is actually a list of terms so we'll get back to that later.
B and C seem pretty straightforward: don't post CP and don't dox/exploit minors (<18). I guess in theory "exploitation" which is "non-sexual" and "non-violent" might be permitted but in general, aspire to avoid exploitation in general, I guess? It sounds like a rough thing to do. Allowance is probably because if you had a blanket ban then mere disagreement or quoting someone's gaff might be called exploitation? TBH this shouldn't just apply to minors either: try not to exploit anybody. You never know if a member who you think is an adult might just be a minor LARPing as one, and even if you know they're an adult, it's generally unethical to molest/hurt people. So however compelled you might be to make some "what a sloot" thread, realize that may not actually help them improve (lots of shame hasn't steered people to morality) or us to (shaming is a slippery slope
D is basically don't threaten violence or encourage others to do it. This actually seems to cover half of rule C if you think about it: that really only needed to be a ban on sexual exploitation since violent exploitation also seems banned for EVERYONE in general. Unless there's some diff between 'violent exploitation' and 'physical harm' which I am missing here.
E is key for chan culture. Like A this is actually mutiply points and PB should've done sub-bullets
1) Promoting/Glorifying racial intolerance means shit like "kill all blacks" or similar BS. None of that RaHoWa stuff please, save it for 1d4chan.
2) it's also intolerant to say stuff like "no racemixing", so try to avoid that. It's okay to express concern for things like white genocide being done via racemixing, so long as you realize that promoting the survival of a race by reproducing with members of your own race does not actually require persecuting those who do. It is entirely possible for distinct ethniticies to survive alongside mixed groups
3) "racist terms" would be things like "niggers" or "spics". Some perceive it to pertain to terms like "Chinks" or "Japs" too, so they're best avoided as well, even though they are arguably just derivative from the English names for the nation (ie Brits/Canucks/Aussies). Terms such as these are only being used here in the rules for examples of what to avoid, in acknowledgement that many in chan/alternative culture will use them to be controversial or to troll. That's cool if you want to do that elsewhere but avoid it here.
F: presumably "drugs" means "illegal drugs" but in case "illegal" is only meant to apply to "substances", just avoid using ANY kind of drug, even non-controversial stuff like insulin or SSRIs.
G: something to do with "Guidelines", will explore www.proboards.com/community-guidelines later perhaps in separate thread
H: something to do with "Objectionable Content" which I'm a little confused about, if it's meant to be something distinct from the "Prohibited Content" mentioned under the Community Guidelines linked to in G.
Note: I might actually split this off into 1 thread per letter so we can break down the issues in more detail and use examples of how they are enforced in various communities.
If you think any user has posted something in violation of a rule (even if they are a mod!) please report it to mods so we can address it. You will not be punished for reporting, you will gain trust as someone who wants to keep the boards up, since they would be naturally prone to being taken down.

To any ProBoards mods reading this: please understand that celibate men are hated and despised and subject to discrimination, and our communities will be targeted with false flags, so I hope you will give us time to response to stuff like this.
